1. Purpose
MedEdu Private Limited (“the Company”) provides guidance and support services to Indian and international students seeking admission to medical and non-medical universities abroad. The Company operates purely as an educational consultancy and support service provider. It does not represent itself as an agent or branch of any university or government authority unless explicitly stated in writing.
2. Scope of Services
The Company offers the following services, subject to applicable laws and regulations:
- Admission counselling and guidance for selection of foreign universities.
- Assistance with applications, documentation, and communication with universities.
- Visa guidance, residence permit support, and travel preparedness advice.
- Pre-departure briefings, accommodation and settlement support abroad.
- Coordination and liaison with recognized foreign universities and institutions.
- Consultancy, promotional, and advisory services related to international education.
All services are provided in good faith based on information received from universities, embassies, and students. The Company does not guarantee admission or visa approval, which are subject to external authorities’ discretion.
3. Student Responsibilities
- Students must ensure all personal, academic, and financial information provided is
accurate and complete. - Any delay, rejection, or loss arising from false, incomplete, or delayed submission of
information shall not be the responsibility of the Company. - Students must comply with all documentation and regulatory requirements of the
concerned university, embassy, and destination country.
4. Fees and Payments
- All service charges and fees shall be clearly informed to the student before availing
services. - Once services have commenced, fees are non-refundable, except where the
Company, at its sole discretion, decides otherwise. - The Company shall not be responsible for any payment made by the student directly
to third parties such as universities, travel agencies, or embassies.
5. Third-Party Decisions
MedEdu Private Limited acts only as a facilitator. All decisions related to university admissions, visa issuance, residence permits, or other approvals are solely under the jurisdiction of the respective authorities. The Company shall not be liable for any rejection, delay, or modification of such decisions.
6. Limitation of Liability
- The Company, its directors, employees, or associates shall not be liable for any direct,
indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of its services - The total liability of MedEdu Private Limited, if any, shall not exceed the amount
actually paid by the student for the specific service in question. - The Company’s role is advisory; responsibility for all final decisions rests solely with
the student.
7. Confidentiality and Data Protection
- The Company respects student privacy and uses submitted information solely for
educational facilitation purposes. - Student data may be shared with relevant universities, embassies, and service partners
as required. - The Company takes reasonable measures for data protection but shall not be liable for
unauthorized access due to causes beyond its control.
8. Integrity and Compliance
MedEdu Private Limited conducts all operations honestly and transparently. The Company reserves the right to withdraw or refuse service to any individual providing false information, engaging in misconduct, or violating any applicable law or regulation.
9. Jurisdiction
This Agreement and all matters arising from it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts at New Delhi, India.
10. Age and Legal Capacity
As per the Indian Contract Act, 1872, a person below the age of 18 years shall be considered a minor.
In such cases, the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must review, accept, and sign these Terms of Service on behalf of the student.
11. Acceptance
By availing the services of MedEdu Private Limited, the student and, where applicable, the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms of Service.
If the student is below 18 years of age, the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) shall be deemed to have accepted full responsibility for the student’s obligations and actions under this agreement.
12. Disclaimer
MedEdu Private Limited acts purely in an advisory and facilitative capacity for international education admissions.
The Company holds no responsibility for any decisions, delays, or rejections made by universities, embassies, or other external authorities.
